About
I'm Balazs Bujdoso-Baranyi, born in Budapest in 1970. I’m a self-taught painter and tattooer; I’ve learned technique and color use only by studying the masters.
I’ve loved drawing for as long as I can remember. I painted a bit as a kid and teen, then in 1995 painting began to take a bigger role. Since 2010 I’ve shown work in numerous exhibitions.
I first tried tattooing at 19 and did it as a favor for friends for years. Since 2016 I’ve lived in Germany, where opened my tattoo studio. As more people asked me to focus on painting, I picked up the brushes again; today I tattoo only once or twice a week.
Recently I’ve exhibited across Europe — Milano, Rome, Basel, Munich, Dortmund, Knokke, and Paris — and in 2024 I entered three fine-art competitions, becoming a finalist each time (including a 3rd prize).
Although painting was a hobby for decades, my work has found a place in many private collections as well as public spaces and institutions, including:
Collection of Father Csaba Böjte (founder of the Saint Francis Foundation of Déva)
Orosháza Cultural Center
Pediatric Oncology Department, Szeged Clinic
